I have been a proud educator within the Wake County Public School System since 1992. During this time, I taught second and third grades as a classroom teacher and then have served in a variety of technology roles such as Technology Resource Teacher, Instructional Technology Facilitator, CTE Instructor, and STEM Coordinator. As of August 2018, I have transitioned into serving WCPSS on the county level through the Digital Learning and Libraries Department as a Digital Learning Coordinator.

Throughout my experiences in schools, I have learned as much as I have taught. I have succeeded and failed forward. I have respected my colleagues and earned their respect in return. I stretched myself until I became capable of more. I want to use my talents and abilities to facilitate the future of North Carolina’s success by creating and supervising quality digital learning support for all of WCPSS schools. I will take the lessons learned along my journey, apply them for the betterment of all students, and support the success of North Carolina’s future one student at a time.
